Evangelization & Faith Formation
Recognizing our own need for ongoing Christian formation, each individual and the parish community call others- by personal witness and by various direct means- to an intentional faith, a life of committed discipleship.  We call one another to further formation, reach out to inactive Catholics and to people with no current church affiliation, as well as promote Gospel values for the transformation of society.
Faith Formation of Adults

Duties:  Facilitate, through small  groups , the process of initiating new members into our Roman Catholic community of faith through Baptism, Confirmation and the Eucharist. Team duties include: catechist and sponsor formation (attending the Rite of Christian Initiation of Adults as a sponsor). This ministry also coordinates Archdiocese faith formation programs for the parish and parish sponsored educational programs for adults.

Time:  Time varies

Special Skills:  Receive on-the-job training and coaching from a mentor; workshops also offered; requires people of faith and prayer with a strong sense of community, witnesses to the Gospel, good listeners

Children's Catechetical Ministry (CCD Program) Grades K - 8

Duties: Help children and their families grow in faith through participation in the parish religious education program; positions include: Catechists,Substitues; Aides, office helpers, child care assistants, and special event managers.

Time:  Sundays 10:00 a.m. - 11:15 a.m; 1 to 2 hours of preparation time; September through April (approx. 30 sessions);Catechists meet first Sunday of each month starting Aug.

Requirements: Voluteer applpication; Federal and State Backround check; Child Protection Training; initial and ongoing training.

Special Skills:  Enjoy working with children;experience helpful
