Recognizing that baptism calls us all to a life of discipleship, individual families and the entire parish responds by educating ourselves in Catholic social teaching, by reaching out in service, and by working for a more just and peaceful world through advocacy and solidarity with the poor and powerless.
Duties: Stock pamphlet rack in back of Church, and encourage parishioners to become involved locally to protect the most vulnerable in our society--the unborn, the newly born, and the aged.
Time: 12 hours per year and coordinate parish activities associated with the annual march on Washington
Special Skills: Anyone with a desire to advocate for people who have no voice in the political system is welcome
